Graphic Designer in Milton Keynes
Logo & brand identity, web design and social/print ad design for Milton Keynes startups and local businesses, from a designer half an hour down the A5 in Luton.
Design Work for Milton Keynes Businesses That Gets Noticed
Milton Keynes has one of the fastest-growing business scenes in the region, spread across CMK, the grid estates, and the surrounding towns. I work with trades, independents, startups and small teams who want their branding, website and ads to look as good as the work they actually do.
Visual consistency is one of the first steps in the journey to customer trust. My job is to arm you with graphic design, branding, and a web presence that helps earn that trust and set you on your way.
I'm Louis Lantos, a freelance graphic designer with 20 years behind me. And it truly is just me. You send the brief and I do the work, no account managers, no delegation, just agency-level work at prices any scale of business can afford.
What I Offer
- Logo & brand identity: logo, colour palette, typography and guidelines, delivered as vector files you own outright
- Web design & SEO: fast, hand-built sites with the search foundations in place from launch, not bolted on later
- Social & print ad design: Facebook and Instagram creative, display banners, and print-ready leaflets and posters
- Brand rollout: business cards, signage artwork, vehicle livery and social templates, all kept consistent
- Fixed, upfront pricing: the quote is agreed before work starts. No hourly creep, no surprise invoices
Who I Work With in Milton Keynes
Most of my MK work falls into four groups, and each starts in a different place.
- Trades & home servicesA logo that reads at a glance on a van, matching signage, and a leaflet aimed at two or three estates rather than the whole city.
- Independent retail & hospitalityFrom CMK out to Stony Stratford and Newport Pagnell: making the shopfront and the social feed look like the same business.
- B2B & professional servicesNear the business parks, where the website often does most of the work before a call even happens.
- Early-stage startupsEverything needed at once on a tight budget, so we sequence it. Identity first, then one page that converts.
Why Milton Keynes Works Differently
MK is a car-based city split into distinct estates by the grid roads, and that changes which advertising actually pays. A leaflet drop can be aimed at one or two grid squares instead of blanketing a postcode, and roadside or retail-park placements get seen repeatedly on the same commute.
It also means well-targeted print often earns its keep alongside digital, rather than instead of it. More on that in print or digital ads in Milton Keynes.
I'm based in Luton, half an hour down the A5, so in-person meetings are easy to arrange. Most projects run fine over email and video call though.
How It Works
- Tell me what you need. A call or an email is enough, and the brief does not need to be polished. My guide on how to brief a designer covers it if you want a steer.
- Fixed quote back, usually within a day. No obligation and no chasing afterwards.
- Research before design. Your competitors, your customers, and where the work will actually be seen.
- Concepts and revisions. The revision rounds are included in the quoted price, not billed on top.
- Handover. Every working file, full ownership, no lock-in.
Turnaround Times
Ad and print design: 3–5 days from brief to final files. Logo and brand identity: 1–3 weeks depending on scope. Websites: 1–6 weeks depending on pages and features. Rush work is possible for an additional fee if you have a print deadline or a launch date.
